No points for attendance. An undertaking states an outcome, someone checks it, and the result attaches to your number forever — including the failures.
Undertakings open at Milestone 2. Rewards in REB begin at Milestone 3.
Six states, all of them public
The lifecycle is the guarantee. If any step could happen privately, the standing it produces would be worthless.
- PublishedThe outcome, the effort and the reward are written down before anyone accepts it.
- AcceptedYou take it publicly. The record shows what you agreed to and when.
- DeliveredYou submit the work itself, not a claim about the work.
- VerifiedSomeone with standing in that territory checks it against the stated outcome.
- RecordedPass or fail, the entry is permanent. Abandoning one is also recorded.
- RewardedExperience and standing immediately; REB once the currency is live at Milestone 3.
Twelve undertakings at founding
These are the first ones. Citizens propose the rest, and the proposal is itself an undertaking.
Propose an improvement
Argue a specific change to a specific published thing.
Translate the declaration
Carry the founding document into another language, faithfully.
Find a design failure
Break something on the record and show how.
Test a prototype
Use an unfinished thing and report exactly what happened.
Create collective material
Write, film or design something that explains the civilization.
Refer a qualified builder
Bring someone whose work the record can verify.
Develop a component
Build a piece of the Founding World itself.
Research a legal or technical question
Answer something the civilization does not yet know.
Produce art, lore or world design
Make the civilization worth living inside.
Organise a local group
Bring the civilization into one physical room.
Fund a published milestone
Pay for a named piece of construction, on the record.
