THE ECONOMY / 07.0000

Generosity is measured, honoured, and never converted into power

A citizen can give money, time, knowledge, compute, goods or service. All of it is recorded, all of it is traceable to an outcome, and all of it advances standing in impact. None of it buys a vote, an office or authority over another person.

Registry 3,341–3,620. Giving and infinite progression.

01THE REFUSALS

Philanthropy has always bought power. Here it cannot.

Generosity should be honoured loudly and separated absolutely from the authority to decide things for other people.

  • 01Giving buys impact standing. It never buys governance authority.
  • 02No donation is anonymous to the ledger, even when it is anonymous to the public.
  • 03Every gift resolves to a named outcome, or it is returned.
  • 04Impact standing decays if the outcome it was granted for is later found false.
  • 05No citizen is ranked above another for wealth given rather than value delivered.
02SIX FORMS

Money is the least interesting thing you can give

Six forms of contribution, each measured in its own unit, each carrying the same standing per unit of verified outcome.

REB · fiat01

Capital

Direct funding of undertakings, territories or citizens in need.

VERIFIED HOURS02

Time

Hours worked on undertakings that pay nothing and matter anyway.

MENTORSHIP XP03

Knowledge

Teaching, mentorship, documentation, translation, review.

COMPUTE UNITS04

Compute

Intelligence and infrastructure capacity donated to the commons.

ASSET RECORD05

Goods

Physical and digital assets transferred into the civilization's use.

ENGAGEMENTS06

Service

Professional capability given to citizens who could not otherwise buy it.

03THE CHAIN

Six links from intent to permanent record

A gift that cannot be traced to an outcome is not a gift, it is a transfer. Every link below is public.

  1. 01Intent

A gift is declared against a named undertaking, territory or citizen.

  2. 02Custody

Value moves into a published account, not into a private discretion.

  3. 03Deployment

It is spent against the stated purpose, itemised.

  4. 04Outcome

The result is verified by citizens with standing in that territory.

  5. 05Attribution

Impact standing is issued to the giver, permanently and non-transferably.

  6. 06Record

The whole chain stays public and inspectable, forever.

04INFINITE PROGRESSION

There is no state here called finished

Impact is its own track. Above every finite ladder sits prestige, legacy and an account level that does not end.

Impact levels
A track of its own, separate from economic level. It measures what changed for other people, not what left your account.
Prestige
At the ceiling of a track, a citizen may reset it — trading the number for a permanent mark on the record and a harder ladder.
Legacy
What survives the citizen: works, institutions, students, capabilities. It never resets and never decays.
Ascension
The infinite account level. It begins where every finite track ends, so there is no state in this civilization called finished.
