A persistent world with digital ground: citizen spaces, organization headquarters, public squares, events and objects that continue existing when nobody is watching.
The point at which it stops being online
Settlements, shared premises, workshops, goods and eventually ground held by the civilization rather than rented by it.
A civilization should not rent its existence
Compute, storage, networking, identity issuance and settlement operated by the civilization itself, culminating in a native chain rather than permanent tenancy on someone else's.
The frontier, funded by the civilization
Research undertakings funded from the treasury, published openly, with the record of who did the work attached permanently.
Twenty ladders, and no lift between them
Every citizen advances in twenty parallel tracks — path, skill, governance, creation, knowledge, trust, economy, legacy and the rest — earned only by verified work and structurally prevented from converting into each other.
A civilization that remembers everything
A persistent, cryptographically anchored record of the world: its founding, its decisions, its conflicts, its discoveries and the contribution of every citizen who moved it.
What sovereign means here
Sovereignty is a specific set of guarantees, not an attitude. Here are the nine, written so they can be held against us.
- A citizen controls their identity, including the right to remain pseudonymous.
- A citizen can hold and transfer economic value without asking permission.
- Contribution stays attached to the contributor, permanently and portably.
- Rules are published before they take effect, never after.
- Institutions are inspectable: their holdings, decisions and failures are public.
- The economy is native — value created inside Rebirth is settled inside Rebirth.
- Rebirth intends to operate its own infrastructure rather than rent its existence.
- Entry is voluntary and revocable at any moment.
- Leaving takes your record and your assets with you, in full.
Rebirth makes no claim of legal statehood, territorial jurisdiction or recognition by any government. It is not a country. It is a civilization being constructed by its citizens, and every claim on this site carries the state it is actually in.
This is not a reform programme
Rebirth does not petition the old structure. It constructs a replacement, in public, one usable milestone at a time.
