Twenty ladders, and no lift between them
Most systems collapse every kind of merit into one number, and then wealth quietly buys the number. Rebirth measures twenty things separately and refuses to let any of them purchase another.
Registry 1,001–1,060: progression tracks and progression resources.
The single most important rule in the civilization
Every corrupt institution in history failed the same way: one form of advantage became convertible into all the others. Here that conversion does not exist.

Twenty measurements of a citizen
Each one is earned in its own currency of proof, held independently, and readable by anyone.
- Global
The sum of everything, and deliberately the least meaningful number on your record.
- Identity
Depth of verification and continuity of the person behind the number.
- Path
Advancement in the discipline you chose to enter.
- Skill
Specific competences, each proven independently.
- Reputation
What other citizens have found true of your work.
- Governance
Authority in rule-making, earned only through governance work.
- Creator
Cultural output that others actually used.
- Builder
Systems shipped that the civilization now depends on.
- Leadership
Crews led and delivered, measured by their outcomes rather than your title.
- Economic
Value created and circulated. Notably: it unlocks nothing outside the economy.
- Exploration
Frontier attempted, including the attempts that failed.
- Knowledge
What you have learned, and what you have taught.
- Social trust
Reliability between people, accrued slowly and lost quickly.
- AI collaboration
Competence at directing intelligence — a first-class discipline here.
- Organization
Standing held by an entity you founded or serve.
- Circle
Standing within a crew, guild or community.
- World
Contribution to a specific persistent world or territory.
- Seasonal
What you did in the current season, reset when it closes.
- Legacy
What survives you. Never resets, never decays.
- Ascension
The infinite track. Begins where every other one ends.
Economic level is drawn in Ash deliberately. It is the one track with no authority attached to it anywhere in the civilization.
What the tracks are made of
Underneath the levels sit seven continuous measures. They move faster than levels do, and they can fall.
- Proof strength
- How well your evidence holds up under review. The multiplier on everything else.
- Trust score
- The probability the civilization assigns to your word.
- Contribution score
- Total verified value delivered to others.
- Integrity score
- Consistency between what you claimed and what was found.
- Momentum score
- Recent, sustained work. Decays deliberately.
- Mastery score
- Depth in a narrow thing, as distinct from breadth in many.
- Influence score
- How far your work travelled through other citizens' work.
