ECONOMY / 06.0900

A productive economy, not a casino

The oldest version of this idea funded winners with the losses of everyone else. That is a business model, not a civilization, and we are not building it.

01THE REFUSAL

What we rejected, and why

40% win, 60% lose, 10% to the house.

A world funded by the losses of its own inhabitants produces botting, farming, wealth concentration, pay-to-win pressure and the correct suspicion that the whole place exists to extract money. High-stakes extraction belongs in the Abyss as a choice, not underneath the entire civilization as a business model.

02PRODUCTION

Everyone makes something

Value enters the world because a person produced it. Every chain below feeds another one, and cutting any link is felt in a market somewhere.

03TWO CURRENCIES

Credits for a life. REB for a civilization.

The separation matters: someone can spend a decade inside the world, be respected, wealthy and powerful, and never touch the second one.

The game economy01

Rebirth Credits

Stable, ordinary, used by everybody, earned by playing. Wages, shops, rents, repairs, contracts. You can spend your entire life in the world and never need anything else.

The civilization layer02

REB

Governance, high-value markets, land and institutional rights, the creator economy, scarce digital property and world projects. Scarce by design, and never a requirement to play.

04INVISIBLE PROPERTY

You own an artifact, not a token

Wallet abstraction is not a nicety here. It is the difference between a world and a trading terminal with graphics.

  • 01You own an artifact. You never think about a token standard.
  • 02No seed phrase in the way of a first evening in the world.
  • 03Self-custody available to anyone who wants it, invisible to everyone who does not.
  • 04Nothing about the property layer is required to fight, build, trade or govern.
