Intelligence declares itself
Every machine-generated output states that it is machine-generated, where it came from and how confident it is.
Machine capability is genuinely useful and genuinely fallible. Both facts have to survive contact with the interface, which means the interface has to say which is which.
An answer without an origin is a rumour with good typography.
THIS RULES OUT
- No synthetic content presented as human authorship.
- No hidden automated decision affecting a person's access, money or record.
- No confidence implied by tone rather than stated as a value.
HOW TO CHECK US
- Signal is a reserved colour: it marks prediction and nothing else.
- Attribution and confidence travel with the output through export and API.
